Big News for App-Rentice!
Development is well underway on the next major update, scheduled for release in early February, just in time for the new year and term!
What’s coming:
In the past month we’ve welcomed two new training providers using app-Rentice with a third hopefully coming onboard soon. With new users comes new ideas so we will be leveraging the ability to provide faster updates to bring you more.
We can’t wait to share this update with you in February, so thank you for being part of the journey and for helping shape App-Rentice into the tool you need.

- A full rebuild of the app using the latest development backends to ensure; compatibility with the newest versions of Android/iOS, meeting the latest standards for security/performance/compatibility, and future updates will roll out faster and more efficiently.
- 60+ bug fixes and enhancements to make your experience smoother and more reliable.
- A refreshed interface that takes advantage of new UI options, including improvements suggested by you, our users.
- Exciting new features to strengthen employer involvement, help track the completion of your qualifications and provide more options to record your work.

Update 2.4 is just around the corner, and we've fixed the Activity Search function so it'll be back.
The update will also include:
* the ability to add/change photos on completed activities,
* Bug fix when downloading content on iOS,
* Bug fix for saving and entering another entry.
We also have a big announcement coming for a new discounts partner and the te reo māori offering is being expanded!

Update 2.35 is now live.
This update fixes the issues some iOS users were having uploading images. Account deletion request added, removed unused features like news, and calculators to streamline the user experience, and minor text and layout edits have been made.
We have temporarily removed the activity search function and downloading content for offline use while we're fixing the bugs with these two features. They will be added back with the next update.

Update 2.27

Version 2.27 was released this week on iOS and a few weeks ago on Android. It was a large update that took a mountain of work to complete but as it was all backend work to meet compliance requirements so you wouldn’t have seen any changes.
We’re already working on the next update and would love to get your feedback, we know of a few minor bugs that have popped up on some devices like icons becoming transparent, the search function not working, and downloading content for offline use stalls on some iOS phones.

Track your progress as you complete your Qualification!!
Mark your Units or Competencies as in Progress or Finished, and if your using App-Rentice through a Training Provider your Trainer can update your progress and mark them as complete.
Other New Features:
* Record of Work now has a Summary of Hours so you can see where gaps are, you can also navigate your work from here as well
* HubSpot chat support - when using the web app you can message us directly when your stuck
* Search your entries by text and Keywords created by your Training Provider
Minor Updates:
* Request account is now completed through a HubSpot form
* Trainers can now see how many entries have been made by a trainee in the last 7 days
* Improved Record of Work navigation and more options for exporting to PDF
Bug Fixes:
* Password reset link fixed
* Linking Employer bug fixed
